“EMV moved to new premises
in October 2006 and were faced with the challenges all
companies experience relocating, including the difficulties
in the transition of our data and voice technology. PCCS
were instrumental in the smooth running of the project
from an IT point of view, liasing with the building contractors,
telecoms companies and our project managers to ensure our
infrastructure was in place and fully operational prior
to our move.
They managed both the de-commissioning of our server
and workstations at our old office as well as the installation
of all data cabling and IT systems at the new office including
the transfer of our ISDN services. It was handled with
the utmost professionalism and all went very smoothly ensuring
minimal disruption to our business, with the work being
completed within the agreed timescales.
PCCS took the time to understand our IT needs as an
operation and advise us on what was best for our business
and new working environment. Handing this part of the project
over to PCCS meant we did not have to worry about any of
the IT aspects, allowing us time to concentrate on some
of the other logistical issues associated to moving.”
